Based on your notes and reading of “To Build A Fire” by Jack London, compose an essay of at least 6 paragraphs which explores the central conflict, theme and characterization in the story. This essay must be typed in MLA Format. Your essay must:
- Concisely summarize the major plot events of the story, citing the rising action events which lead up to the climax and how the falling action events lead to the resolution. (2 paragraphs)
- Explain two major conflicts that drive the story (2 paragraphs)
- Explain how one of these conflicts develops into a central theme. (1 paragraph)
- Identify how the protagonist is characterized using two examples and noting the personality traits these events disclose. (1 paragraph )
